Personality & Traits

General Overview		Feyd, while able to fulfill medical duties, was trained more as a battlefield medic. He is something of a savant in the way of stabilizing the injured before they are delivered to a hospital or other medical facilities, and like all true savants, his social abilities are lacking to an embarrassing degree. Being a child combatant had a profound effect on Feyd's personality. Cynical and critical of weakness, Feyd's bedside manner is almost comical in its absurd lack of compassion.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Feyd is a true artist in his ability to think outside the box. He has been known to use mundane articles and tools to keep patients alive long enough to be treated fully. His weaknesses are all related to two things in his life of significance, the first being that he was an orphan for most of his childhood. The second is that he has absolutely zero bedside manner, mostly because his interests are to keep patients alive, not necessarily comfortable.

Personal History

Born in 2358 on a small moon called Erp, Feyd was orphaned at a very young age. In most Earth colonies, this wouldn't have been a problem, since orphans are placed in foster families and cared or very well. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, Feyd was not afforded such a luxury.

Feyd's parents were part of a small but well funded colony. 30 years after its founding, it was attacked by a alien species known as the Murtaw, and most of the colonists were enslaved. Those that survived fled to the hills, living on the run in small bands committed to a guerrilla campaign against their attackers. Since the colony had severed ties with the United Federation of Planets, and since the invaders continued to transmit 'all is well' messages to Starfleet, it was five years before the invasion and subsequent liberation took place. As a result, from the age of 10 to 15, Feyd lived with one of the guerilla bands.

It was on Erp during the occupation that Feyd met and fell in love with Jeannette, the first love of his life. He has pined for her ever since, and has seen her on Starbase 10.

After a year of service on the USS Independence, Feyd was promoted to Chief Medical Officer.
The USS Independence will be Feyd's first Federation Assignment. Feyd recently earned is MD and took over duties as Chief Medical Officer.
