Mission: Sleeper Ship and Criminals
Location: Independence
Timeline: Current

{Deck 2-XO's Office}

The Commander was busy at getting everything ready for their unexpected guests. He had already discussed with Dr. Relor the best ways to keep the prisoners asleep during their trek to the Penal Colony. Jamie was quite impressed with Feyd's knowledge of accomplishing the task ahead.

Now he would speak to the next person on his list. Tapping his Comm "Lieutenant Zebot this is Commander O'Connell." "Yes go ahead Commander" came the reply.

"Have you found out what Penal Colony the prisoners were being transported to yet" Jamie asked.

"Yes Commander....I was about to call you...they're going to the Penal Colony on Tellar; a maximum security installation. They're actually about two weeks away from the Colony at warp four" Kat explained.

"Good work Lieutenant, I'll inform the Captain. By the's the new Marine you think he'd be cooperative with us posting guards around the Brig for the duration of the trip to Tellar" Jamie inquired.

"I don't see why not....Sergeant Hunt seems ok....I've had a few conversations with him and things went well....why do you ask" Katlyn wondered.

Jamie thought for a moment "Being head of Security you should know....the plan is to beam the prisoners aboard while in stasis and keep them that way until we reach thought was to use the Marines, which would free up your people for their regular duties while giving the Marines something to do for awhile" he explained hoping Katlyn wouldn't be offended.

"Sounds good to me Commander....the last thing I want to do is put my people at risk....I've lost too many men already" Katlyn replied.

A very relieved Commander replied "Good, I'm glad your ok with this...I'll contact Hunt next then...thanks, O'Connell out."

Then tapping his Comm "Sergeant Hunt this is Commander O'Connell...we need to have a word" came the request.

"Commander what do I owe the pleasure of hearing from the Fleet" Hunt replied. Jamie explained in detail what he needed from the Marines and was hoping not to have to make it an order....he didn't want to get off on the wrong foot with the new CO of the Marines.

"Certainly Commander my Marines can do that for will give us something to do for a change besides training. How many prisoners are we talking" Hunt asked.

"About ten...but their hardcore criminals on their way to a maximum security installation....and they need to be kept alive also" Jamie explained.

Hunt just chuckled "No problem Commander, I'll have my men ready to do their part...just let me know when."

"Certainly problem....and thank you for your cooperation in this. O'Connell out. Now everything was set for the impending arrival of the prisoners which would commence tomorrow. Right now it was time to call it a day.

{XO's Quarters}

A very tired Jamie entered their Quarters seeing his lovely fiancee sitting on the couch....he walked over to her "Hey sweetheart, how are you" he said then bent down to give her a kiss.

"Good now that your home safe and look tired....can I get you a drink" Heather asked.

"Thanks...and yes I'm's been a long day" Jamie replied then sat on the couch while Heather got him a Whiskey "Here maybe this'll help" as she handed him a drink then sat right next to him. "So what happened today."

Jamie took a big swig of his drink then explained what he had done today and what he discovered on the drifting ship. Heather commented "Well I can see why you're tired....but your home now so relax and we'll have a nice dinner."

"That sounds nice...but first I need to send Mystery a quick message" Jamie replied. He went to the terminal and signed in and wrote the Captain a quick note which included where the prisoners were on their way to and who they name that stuck in his mind was Eddie Brisco....and he couldn't remember why that name sounded so familiar to him.

After Jamie was finished, he signed out of the terminal and stood to go change out of his uniform when suddenly he felt strange and when he looked at Heather all he could see was a swirl of light "What the Blood....." then Jamie was gone.

She looked up just in time to see Jamie disappear from sight "Jamie!!!!" Heather screamed only to realize that he was gone. A million things went racing through her mind...."where did he go....who did this to would she get him back" then she realized that she was in 'panic mode' which she had never done before she met Jamie. So she closed her eyes and took in a few deep breathes to re-center herself and clear her mind.

"Computer....locate Commander O'Connell" she requested. "Commander O'Connell is not on the Ship" came the reply after a few moments. Heather thought for a minute; then she knew exactly where Jamie was....and it wasn't good.

Tapping her Comm "Lieutenant Zebot this is Ensign Devroe." Zebot here...what's going sound stressed" Katlyn replied.

"I'm pretty sure somehow Jamie has been abducted by the prisoners on that ship....but I don't know how. Can you beam me over there undetected by them" Heather asked.

"Shit...that's not good. Yes I can but it's going to take me part of a day to write the code and implement it into our Computer system...but I can do it...have you told the Captain yet" Katlyn said.

"Thank you Kat...let me know when it's the meantime I need to talk to the Captain...for Jamie's sake I think it's time I came clean about my may very well save his life" Heather explained.

After a few moments of silence "Please tell me your not going to do something stupid" Kat stated.

"I'll do whatever I have get my future husband back...what would you do in my place" Heather asked. "Point taken" was the reply, Zebot out.

Then tapping her Comm "Captain Ellis this is Ensign Devroe...I have some bad news and we need to talk as soon as possible....the Commander's life may depend on it." Heather stated.
