Pub Time Part I

Now that Jamie had been checked out by Medical, and was given a clean bill of health, he was 'as fit as an Irish Fiddle' and decided to use his rotation turn to beam down to Risa and sample some of their hospitality. A Pub would be a great place to start.

Arriving on the surface he immediately found a nice little Pub and proceeded to go inside. It was nice inside, of course not as nice as home, but this would do just fine.

When Jamie walked up to bar, the Bartender asked him what he would like. "Irish Whiskey" was his answer. "I'm sorry Starfleet but we don't serve that libation here. Can I get you something else?" Jamie thought for a moment "Romulan Ale then" although not as good as whiskey but it would have to do. In a moment he had a cold glass of ale in front of him. "Thanks" he said.

While sipping his ale something caught his eye. Standing beside of him was this purple haired 'fine figure of a women'.
She turned towards Jamie and said "Hi, I'm Kira".
"Kira what" he asked.
"Just Kira and you are?"
"Jamie" was the reply.
"Jamie what" she asked.
"Just Jamie" he replied thinking that two can play that game.
"Buy a girl a drink?"
"Certainly, what would you like."
"Whatever your having".
"Barkeep two more Romulan Ales if you please.
Soon after they had their two ales they were swapping small talk until Kira asked" Would you like to go and sit at a table instead of at the Bar?.
"Sure" and they moved to a table in the corner of the Pub.

After more conversation and many more ales it suddenly got real quiet and Kira asked " Your clothes they look so formal for being in a Pub."
"This is the uniform of Starfleet, I'm the Chief Engineer aboard the USS Independence in orbit above Risa" was Jamie's explanation.
"What is Engineer?" she asked.
"I oversee a department that makes sure that everything aboard the ship is operating properly and if is breaks down we have to repair the problem."
"So you fix things" she stated.
" Simply put, yes we fix things on the Ship."
"So what is that thing on your shirt" as Kira pointed to his Comm Badge.
"That's my communication device that I use to talk to the ship."

Several more minutes passed by when she asked "Would you like to go somewhere more private for awhile"
"Sure" and with that they got up and Jamie followed Kira by the hand upstairs.

"Would you like another ale" she inquired.
"Ah, why not" Jamie said as he was thinking to himself " man can this girl put the ale away".
While they were drinking, hopefully their last ale, Kira leaned into Jamie and kissed him then whispered something in his ear which he did not understand. Suddenly this sense of pleasure came over him like he had just been given a drug. The last thing that Jamie remembered was thinking "Is that even physically possible?........"
