New Administration

After a lengthy discussion, Tara has decided to handoff simulation administration to me. She will continue to be the Captain of the USS Independence and post as Mystery Ellis. Sean Silk will continue to be the ship’s executive officer and I will continue as the Chief Tactical Officer. On the surface, everything will be much as it has been up to this point.

I will be taking on administrative duties of the simulation: maintaining the site, enforcing the rules of the Sim (TBP), resolving disputes between players, conceiving missions or getting missions from the players, providing situational and environmental clues for players to react to, and moving the plot forward.

I will be working on the rules of the simulation over the weekend and will have a first draft available early next week. It will be a social contract between all that players that will hopefully reduce conflicts and misunderstandings in the future. I encourage all players to read and comment on the draft rules and make recommendations for changes prior to final publication. This is our game and the rules must be a reflection of the tenets and values we hold dear.

We have some interesting plot lines going on in the mission right now. Let’s continue to explore them.
