Good to have you aboard Lieutenant!

Feyd winced as the grenade went off, assuming he'd find little more than body parts when he rounded the corner into the atrium. He shouldered past Jenkins, giving him what could only be described as a 'go to hell' look. "Asshole," he muttered as he passed.

"Medic!" he cried, moving toward where the Ferengi had been. In his experience, shouting that he was a medic before entering a combat zone was no guarantee he wouldn't be shot on site, but at least there was a chance, however small. He was somewhat relieved to see the three Ferengi rolling around with their hands covering their faces. "My eyes, my eyes!" they cried, and Feyd realized it had just been a flash bang. Ok, maybe Jenkins wasn't as stupid as he looked.

First, do no harm...that was supposed to be the doctor's creed. Feyd had always thought that was insipid. He would use any tool in his tool belt to take down an enemy, including what he had learned from the field of medicine.

He crouched down next to the nearest Ferengi. "Hold still." He growled, pulling some restraints out of his med kit and securing him. He pulled out an ocular regenerator and ran it over his patient's face just as Commander Ellis and another officer came into the atrium, phaser rifles trained on the downed aggressors.

"Secure those two." He said, without looking up. On the battlefield, there was no time for niceties. He heard them move to comply, while the remaining security forces converged in their area. He moved on to the other two and repeated the same process without a word. When he finished, he stood up, shouldered his med bag and picked up his rifle.

"Who's this." He said, gesturing toward the Lieutenant.

"Lieutenant Kevin Lance." the man said, his eyes never leaving the corridor ahead. "I'm your new CoS."

Feyd nodded. "Commander Relor. I'm the sawbones of this outfit. "Shall we?" he said, heading down the corridor in pursuit of new future patients.
