Mission: Ghost Station
Location: Shuttle Craft
Timeline: Coming Aboard - Pre Ships Departure

All sorts of things were going through Jamie's mind as he was waiting for the Shuttle to get within range to beam over to the USS Independence. Had he had enough training and experience and was he up for his new assignment. It wasn't everyday that you get promoted to Chief Engineering Officer especially aboard an advanced Achilles Class Starship like the USS Independence with all of the latest Tech that Starfleet had to offer.

"We're within range of the Independence, Sir" exclaimed the Pilot. "Aye" Jamie replied as he stepped onto the Transporter Pad. Suddenly all of his doubts melted away as he was transported over to the USS Independence.

Jamie stepped off the Pad with his transfer orders in hand " Jamie O'Connell Chief Engineering Officer reporting for duty. Permission to come aboard" he stated as he handed his orders to the Crewman. " Permission granted, welcome aboard Sir" responded the Crewman "We've been expecting you." "Thank-you" Jamie replied. Then he exited the Transporter Room with his PADD in hand with the ship's schematics on screen. Now he needed to find a Turbolift to the Bridge.
