Jamie walked into Docking Bay #35 and looking around he saw Kira at a work bench looking more industrial than gorgeous. She had his Comm Badge and was trying to pry it open.

"Stop" Jamie shouted as he moved quickly towards her.

" I see you found me" she replied.

"Why did you steal my Comm Badge" was Jamie's question.

"Steal! I did not steal anything; I paid you for it by letting you stay around" was Kira's explanation.

"You mean you let me live, don't you" Jamie answered; as opposed to her previous lovers.

"Do you think that I killed them; I'm surprised at your accusation; I thought that you are better than that" was her hurtful reply.

"Soooo, what did happen to them; the Barkeep said that you are Megaas; when translated means 'widow maker'."

"Just the opposite; Megaas translated in my language means 'long life'. These are just 'tiny little minds' trying to comprehend something that they know nothing about." was Kira's reply.

"Oh" Jamie said feeling very small about now "Please forgive me Kira, I'm sorry if I implied that you killed those men, I usually don't jump to those kind of conclusions."

Seeming less hurt Kira said "Let me tell you of my people's history. Many generations ago men sought out our women for sex because it was like nothing they had ever experienced before. Then they became obsessed with us and captured us and turned us into 'sex slaves' for many generations. Meanwhile our Ancient Ones went into hiding and after many years came up with a gene therapy which would enable us to whisper into a man's ear and would make him forget the next 8 hours of his life. if they couldn't remember the experience then they would no longer hunt us. Because most men would have mental issues, after a short period of time, we were able to 'will' these men to our planet where they could be taken care of. After we were certain that they were mentally stable we would allow them to leave. Many stayed and continued to live with us. The gene therapy was given to our young women so that it was passed down naturally from one generation to the next."

"Wow, now I feel really stupid and petty" Jamie replied. "Do you think that I'll have any of these mental issues that you've mentioned."

"No you'll be fine; your different than the others. But now I desperately need to get back to my planet and I need what's in your Comm Badge to do so"

"What's in my Badge that you need so much" he asked.

"Alum Oxide, even though it's a small amount, I need it to help power the engines on my ship even if just for a cycle or two".

Jamie thought for a second " I tell you what if you give me back my Comm Badge I can get you enough Alum Oxide from my Ship to power yours for a very long time and you give me the specs on your propulsion system; deal?"

"You would do that for me?" Kira asked "I guess that I was right about you after all."

"Yes, in a heartbeat" he replied.

Tapping his newly recovered Comm Badge" Lt. O'Connell to Main Engineering"

"Yes Lieutenant go ahead" was the response.

"Beam me down a four kilo canister of Alum Oxide before you destroy any more of it and also a PADD to my current location"

"Aye Sir, right away"

After several minutes both items appeared in the Docking Bay just as ordered.

"So you do have a last name after all" Kira said in amusement.

"Yes it's O'Connell.. Jamie O'Connell that is" he said smiling.

"Mine is Neva... Kira Neva that is" she replied with a big smile on her face " Thank you so much for your help and here are the specs on my ships engines for you."

Then she waved her hand over herself and suddenly became that gorgeous women from last night. She walked up to Jamie and gave him a big kiss.

"I sure hope that we meet again Jamie O'Connell" Kira said with a tear in her eye.

"Me too" Jamie responded "Me too".

And with that Jamie tapped his Comm Badge " Transporter Room this is Lt O'Connell, one to beam up."

Within seconds he was back aboard the USS Independence feeling very good about himself.
