Mission:
Distress Call
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: Current
On:
Feyd and Natasha had just gotten back to the ship in the shuttle with the Chef and his wife and were busy settling in to Sickbay, checking supplies and making sure they had all the necessary equipment to receive wounded. The Doctor checked their triage equipment as well, knowing that sometimes the best option in a situation like this was to set up a field hospital. He was checking his supply of pattern enhancers when the computer chirped.
Snip
Mystery had received word on Lieutenant Balrog and what had happened. Tapping her com-badge “Sick bay this is the captain how is Lieutenant Balrog doing?”
End Snip
Feyd glanced over at one of the bio beds where Balrog was lying unconscious. He hadn't even noticed him until now. He read the medical readout above the bed.
"Relor here Captain. Lieutenant Balrog is sleeping. He's been treated for a concussion and exposure, but should pull through just fine. He should be released for duty in a day or two."
"That's welcome news," Mystery replied "Do you have any idea where he was and how he got so cold? There's not many places on Risa that is so cold."
"According to the Transporter Officer he beamed himself to the top of a mountain with nothing on but swim trunks and a rubber ducky float. If the skiers hadn't found him, he would be dead. Thankfully they did and he survived his mistake. Lieutenant Lance took a security team and he retrieved him a few hours ago. Good thing he was so quick to react." He said, mentally noting the efficiency of the CoS.
Mystery stifled a laugh at the thought of him beaming down in swim trunks and a rubber ducky float. "My guess he meant the plastic beach and gave the operator the wrong coordinates."
Feyd chuckled as well. "Yeah, things have a way of happening to Lt Balrog, don't they? Well Captain, thanks for checking in on the patient, I'll update you if there are any changes. In the meantime, I need to get Sickbay ready for any incoming wounded."
The doctor severed the connection and went about his business.
