"Docking procedure completed," announced the computer.

Balrog snored from the main station.

"Docking procedure completed," repeated the computer. ... "Docking procedure completed!" it said with with its volume increased two levels.

"Oh yes," uttered Balrog as he almost fell from his chair. "Uh... open doors."

"Opening main airlock now."

Balrog gathered his things and proceeded out into the shuttle bay. He handed his credentials to the attending crewman.

"We were not expecting you, Mr. Balrog."

"What do you mean, I'm the new Operations Officer?"

"That's funny. We just got a new Operations Officer."
