A Long Day,

Posted on Thu Oct 28th, 2021 @ 7:16pm by Captain Mystery Ellis

Mission: Settlers
Location: Various
Timeline: Current

ON:

Mystery had spent the biggest share of the day on the planet helping getting buildings up, irrigation set up and helping to clear more land for smaller areas where the settlers would eventually have animals grazing. The animals were still several weeks away. In the meantime pastures needed to be put in, fences needed to be put up.

Several crops had been planted and as Rayven had reported the crops had grown fast, rows of corn, wheat, tomatoes, pineapples and several varieties of fruit trees had been planted and they to had grown at a fast rate.

To say she was tired was an understatement; Mystery had muscles hurting that she didn’t even know she had. Leaning against a fence she looked out at the lake as it lapped against the shore. The planet still seemed too good to be true. The sun was starting to set and it cast brilliant hues of color on the clouds and reflected on the lake.

Looking up Mystery looked at the two moons, one was a hunk of rock and the other one needed to be explored as science reported it may hold life.

Mystery after letting one of the settlers know she was leaving tapped her com-badge and returned to the ship. Once there she’d heard about the settler who had been beamed up with a stomach ache from eating some of the corn. Tapping her com-badge “Commander O’Connell and Doctor Relor what’s the status of the settler who was beamed up? Is he okay and do you know what happened to him?”
