Mystery drummed her fingers on the arm of the command chair concerned over the lack of the reporting from the away teams. Turning to the communications officer "Lieutenant patch me through to the away teams."

"your patched through commander," Communications said a few seconds later

"Attention away teams this is Commander Ellis, you've all missed your check in times. I need reports on what is going on? Have you found anything? I need status reports. Major Strek what does the solar system look like?"

Mystery got to her feet and walked over to the science station, the junior officer just looked at her and shrugged his shoulders.

"We're too far away from the solar system to get accurate readings." the science officer reported

"Launch a probe, I'm blind here and I need answers," Mystery said
